Jivan was born and raised in Vermont, USA. Since graduating, Jivan has
been employed primarily in the Information Technology sector. Jivan's
interest in teaching has shown in the many part-time instructor
positions that he has taken. Jivan is now doing more teaching than
software development.
Jivan has lived and traveled througout the world, including New Zealand,
India, Brazil, and Costa Rica. His most recent residence in the US was
the San Diego area in Southern California.
Jivan is currently residing in the Guang An Men district of Beijing,
China, where he has completed a TEFL teaching certificate course, and
currently teaches individuals and small classes.
Jivan enjoys taijiquan, bonsai, table tennis, and writing poetry. He
can also sometimes be found dancing or rock-climbing.
